Why don't send them an email stating that the project ended after 4 months? Don't forget to CC company B.
If the project ended, then you are not getting paid for that project anymore. So, that itself is your proof, in case you receive a legal notice. So, stop worrying.

Hi, Is there anybody in this forum who has filed G-28 for self? Can somebody please advise what to fill? I am going thru the G-28 form right now, it has the following option:
1. I am an attorney...
2. I am acredited representative of religious, charitable trust....
3. I am associated with -------- the attorney of record previously filed a notice of appearance...(in this case, please check 1 or 2 as appropriate)
4. Others (Explain fully).
I guess if we have to file for self, we need to check others.
Can someone please advise what to write in the explanation? Also, does USCIS acknowledge the change of record or at least the receipt of G-28? Can this be filed even before sending AC21 letter? Is there anyway the existing lawyer/company will know about this? Thanks in advance for the reply.

I am a july 3 filer . I saw that there is on LUD with date of 11/25/2007 on my 140 which was approved on Jan 8,2007. My 485, EAD are still pending at NSC.
Can you guys tell me what that LUD on my 140 means?

Dear All:
Need your advice. Filed I-485 on July 5th. I-140 is approved. Working with the employer for 6 yrs. Now that I filed for final stage, my employer wants me to sign a contract voluntarily that I should stay with them for 24 months. What are my legal options in state of CA? He wants to get 20K if I leave earlier than contract term. I signed it since he threatened me to revoke I-140. Can I backout after portability law kicks in.

I think best option will be to use Consular Processing for your EB2 petition. You will have your GC very soon if PD remains current (which is very likely in your case).

To the best of my knowledge you can not file for AOS while you are on TN . To process your green card you have to switch to your H1B from TN and start your green card as any other national i.e file for your Labor certification, I-140 and then i-485 .This process is same like any other national. You can just drag and drop the icon you want into Blend or explicitly add it via the Projects panel :)
Your question on connecting to an XML data source is interesting because there are several ways of doing this. One approach is by using Linq and just parsing the output.

* How do I use a wp7 icon (from the icon pack) as a clickable button? I have an input search TextBox, but instead of using a simple button control (for the click event) I would like to use the magnifying glass icon as the search button --something similar to how Bing (on WP7) uses the mic in the search box. How can I accomplish this?

I am going to apply for a position in Oracle but do not know if it files green card or not. I am reluctant to ask this in the interview.(They may prefer somebody who does not need it) . Also I wonder if there is any wait time for them to file the green card after joining. I posted this because I think some of you might be working for Oracle and might be knowing. For most of us, who are retrogressed, we would have worked with sponsoring employer already for 4 to 5 years. the main issue here is whether sufficient intent existed at the time of filing 140 and 485. after having been in 485 filed status for long, it is natural for intent to change.
so, i do not see why full time MBA with 485 pending is an issue. the laws are quite unclear, for sure.

Best part will be
- Convert into F1 just before 6 month or 1 year before she completes her study. U must pay for international fees ( if approval comes after semesteir start then for that semester u will pay in-state fee)
- It will enable her to pursue opt and make a way for converting to H1B
For OPT
- at the time of filing she must be in F1
- She should have full time student for 1 year ( not necessarily F1 for 1 year)

Well another Gandihigiri should be done after witnessing the visa bulletin, along with the the reunion of March 1st, lets send flowers along with a pamplet saying " I want to BUY A HOUSE IN AMERICA"
